3,000 MW of solar plants at KPTCL sub-stations to power farm pumps by day

Under this scheme, built on the PM-KUSUM Component-C model, solar power plants of 3,000 MW will be set up at KPTCL sub-stations through a renewable energy service company, at an estimated Rs 10,500 crore, to give farmers reliable daytime power and reduce the load of farm pumps.
