25 percent subsidy for 10,000 selected beneficiaries in each category
A scheme gives a 25 percent subsidy to 10,000 selected beneficiaries to set up sheep and goat units in the Belagavi and Kalaburagi divisions, and a 25 percent subsidy to another 10,000 selected beneficiaries to buy cows or buffaloes for dairy. Rs 40 crore has been earmarked in the current year.
