Raita Malls and Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD)

Raita Malls will be set up through MSIL on a pilot basis in all taluks of Kolar district to supply seeds, pesticides, fertilisers and farm implements under one roof. The Alternate Wetting and Drying method will be promoted in paddy to use water more efficiently and to adapt to climate change.
