Assistance to build a pucca house for rural families without one

PMAY-G gives financial assistance to rural families who live in kutcha or no housing to build a pucca house, with the money paid in stages into the beneficiary's bank account as work progresses. In plain areas the assistance has been about Rs 1.2 lakh, with extra support for a toilet and for labour. Families are chosen from a verified list, so check your name with the gram panchayat. Karnataka's rural housing runs through the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation.
