PM Ujjwala Yojana
Free LPG connection for women of poor households
Ujjwala gives a free LPG connection to adult women from poor households that did not have one, so that they can cook on clean fuel instead of firewood. The first refill and stove support have been offered in some phases, and a targeted subsidy on refills has been given to Ujjwala consumers. Apply at your LPG distributor with identity, address and ration card or BPL proof, and complete e-KYC. Subsidy amounts are set by the Centre and change from time to time.
