PM-KISAN
Rs 6,000 a year in three instalments for farmer families
PM-KISAN is a central scheme that gives eligible farmer families Rs 6,000 a year, paid in three instalments straight into the bank account. Farmers register on the PM-KISAN portal or through the village service centre, and must complete e-KYC and link the land record and bank account. Land-holding families are covered, with some exclusions such as income-tax payers. Check the portal for the current instalment status.
