PM SVANidhi
Working-capital loans for street vendors
PM SVANidhi gives street vendors a small working-capital loan to restart or run their business, with the option of a larger loan after the first is repaid on time. Timely repayment and digital transactions earn an interest subsidy and cashback. Vendors apply on the portal or at a bank with a certificate of vending or a letter of recommendation from the urban local body. Loan sizes were revised in later years, so confirm the current amounts at the municipality or a bank.
Rules, amounts and dates can change. Confirm the details on the official portal or at your taluk office before you apply.
