Samagra Shiksha
School education support from pre-school to class 12
Samagra Shiksha is the central programme that brings school education from pre-school to class 12 under one umbrella. It pays for school buildings and classrooms, teacher training, free textbooks, uniforms support, inclusive education for children with special needs, and girls' hostels, among other things, with the cost shared with the state. It runs through the state School Education department, so parents do not apply separately. Ask your school or the block education office about the facilities in your area.
Rules, amounts and dates can change. Confirm the details on the official portal or at your taluk office before you apply.
