Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0

Nutrition support for children, pregnant women and adolescent girls

Poshan 2.0 combines Anganwadi services, the POSHAN Abhiyaan and the scheme for adolescent girls into one nutrition programme. Children aged 0 to 6, pregnant and breastfeeding women and adolescent girls in the notified areas benefit through supplementary nutrition, early childhood care and education, and health and nutrition counselling at Anganwadi centres. Enrol at the nearest Anganwadi centre; the worker registers beneficiaries on the Poshan Tracker app. No fee is charged. Funding is shared by the Centre and states; check the Ministry of Women and Child Development for current allocation.
