Soil Health Card Scheme

Free soil testing and fertiliser advice for every farm

The Soil Health Card scheme was launched on 19 February 2015 at Suratgarh, Rajasthan. Soil samples from a farmer's land are tested for nutrients, and a card is issued with the crop-wise fertiliser dose to use, so that farmers avoid overuse and save on cost. Every farmer can get a card, free of charge, usually every two years. Contact the Raitha Samparka Kendra or the district agriculture office to give a soil sample, or check the Soil Health Card portal for the card.
